Home Remedies To Stop The Gray Hair In The Early Days

Finding a gray strand while combing your hair could be a woman’s worst nightmare. One might disagree with this, but it only starts getting to your head when you notice one. And it is not just women who cry about it but men start freaking out about early graying too.
There are those who would say you should just embrace the fine gray like Meryl Steep & Richard Gere and that’s absolutely your personal choice, there is no shame in aging and there is no shame in accepting the wisdom that comes as a perk of graying. You could want to color your hair Blue at 76 and that still would be your personal choice.
Gray Hair is not the end of the world and we are here to help cope with that stress with some home remedies.

Some Natural Hair Dyes To Cover Gray Hair.

  1. Indian Gooseberry (Amla)

AmlaIngredients you will require:

  • 3 teaspoon amla powder
  • Henna powder according to the length of your hair
  • 1 teaspoon Coffee powder
  • Gloves
  • A brush to apply

Time It will take to process:

  • 1 Hour minimum

               Process:

  • Combine and mix all the ingredients in a bowl until it makes a fine paste. It shouldn’t be watery and or too thick. You could add some water if you think it is too thick.
  • You would want to put on your gloves to avoid messing your hands with the color. Take the brush and start applying the paste from the center partition of your towards the hair ends.
  • Leave it in for 1 hour until it dries.
  • Rinse your hair with a mild shampoo that doesn’t contain sulphate and parabens.
  1. Black Tea

     Black tea  Ingredients you will require:

  • 2 teaspoon Black teaspoon
  • 1 cup water

Time It will take to process:

  • 1 Hour minimum

               Process:

  • Boil water in a tea pan and add the black tea powder and let it steep for a while.
  • Pour it into a cup and set it aside to cool.
  • Once it has cooled, apply it to your hair and keep it for an hour.
  • Rinse your hair with cool water.
  • Do not wash it with a shampoo.
  1. Curry Leaves

Curry leavesIngredients you will require:

  • 3 tablespoon coconut oil
  • A handful of curry leaves

Time It will take to process:

  • 1 Hour minimum

               Process:

  • Heat the curry leaves with coconut oil in a saucepan till you see a black residue forming.
  • Keep it aside and let it cool down for a while.
  • Massage it into your scalp and through the lengths and make sure you cover the gray areas mostly.
  • Once you cover all the areas, leave it for an hour.
  • Wash your hair with a mild sulphate free shampoo.
  1. Potato Peel Rinse

 Potato rinseIngredients you will require:

  • Potatoes’ peels from 6 potatoes
  • 2 cups of water

 Time it will take to process:

  • 5 minutes minimum

               Process:

  • Boil the potato peels till you see a starchy kind of solution forming.
  • Let it cool down and strain it to separate the solution from the peels.
  • Collect the liquid in a mug or cup.
  • Wash and condition your hair and then use this liquid to rinse it.
  • Do not rinse your hair after this again.
  • You could do this 1-2 times a week.
  1. Black Pepper Hair mask

    Black pepper   Ingredients you will require:

  • 2 grams of black pepper
  • 1 cup yogurt

Time it will take to process:

  • 1 Hour minimum

               Process:

  • Let the ingredients blend till you see the paste becoming gray.
  • Massage it into your hair from roots to tips.
  • Don’t rub your eyes even my mistake because it will sting more than you can imagine.
  • Leave it for an hour.
  • Proceed to wash it after an hour with mild sulphate and Paraben free shampoo.

You could try these methods once or twice a week depending on how gray your hair is or on the amount of graying you are experiencing.
